Because we developed the dt282 and dt2001 Access Control Systems to allow for upgrades from our legacy products like the DT160 ~ DT162 ~ DT164 ~ DT280 ~ DT324 and DT500V as well as our OEM versions like the Diebold ASC-PC System, Wells Fargo PassWay System or the Notifier NXT System, your system will never become obsolete. Take a look at a few of our case studies below.

Originally installed in 1984, the Doortek 500V Card Access System at the Petro-Canada Centre in Calgary, Alberta Canada, has been serving it's tenants well. In 2005, after 11 years of faithful, reliable service, the 500V system was upgraded to a DoorTek dt2001 Access Control System using state of the art components such as HID's iClass Smart Card Readers it controls access to hundreds of doors, multiple elevator cars and the parking complex.

In 1991 came one of the most unique installations in company history. A 128 door DoorTek dt324 Access Control System was installed at the McMurdo site in Antarctica, one of the harshest environments on earth. All software and hardware was upgraded in 1999 and the system is still providing reliable security to this important facility today.

With more than 30,000 DoorTek panels installed throughout the world, the company continues to support all existing installed products (no products have been forced to become obsolete) as well as providing upgrades and new systems via an extensive dealer network. And, drawing on our deep experience in the industry, we continue to develop new, cutting edge, innovative products to service the security needs of our customers.
